Twenty twenty-five: thank you and feeling incredibly blessed.

I quit my full-time offshore role as head chef after 15 years with Compass Group. I took a massive risk and stepped into the unknown, not sure how things would unfold.

I’ve worked in remote communities on Ngaanyatjarra lands, running cooking workshops with @ppprepareproduceprovide for young people who aspire to become chefs. I’ve also done career tasters back home in my hometown of Cue.

Highlights include:
Mid-West Economic Forum Welcome Dinner
Catering for Indigenous Business Month Sundowner events and speaking alongside talented, successful mob business owners
Performing a cooking demo at the Fremantle Biennale
Collaborating with Western Australia’s top chefs at the Djinda Ngardak Gala Dinner with @ppprepareproduceprovide @melisspalinkas @maison_lassiaille and workshops, including storytelling with dessert on a tile for aspiring young chefs from across WA
Working in fine dining restaurants at @theflackyard and @fervorfood

And thank you all who helped with bimba foods

This was inspired by my trip to Kalgoorlie the channels where the honey ants would live under the dirt are the strawberry sauce and sandlewood butter crumbs represents the dirt
